IRCU scale up Biomedical HIV/AIDS Prevention: Thousands turn up for Safe Medical Circumcision

A total of 1,886 people were circumcised during the free Safe Medical Circumcision (SMC) camp organized by the Inter-Religious Council of Uganda (IRCU) with support from USAID and Mengo hospital.Those circumcised were aged between 10-50 years of age. In case of children, a parent or guardian’s consent was required before the operation.
