International Ecumenical Fellowship (IEF) Launched in Africa

The first ever International Ecumenical Fellowship (IEF) chapter in Africa was launched in the quiet and serene ambience of Bishop Stuart University (BSU), Mbarara Western Uganda.

IEF being a grassroots, international community of Christians that brings together Christians of all traditions to worship, pray, study and enjoy fellowship, will also unite lay and ordained Christians across the divides of language, ethnicity, nationality, political structures, spirituality and Church traditions.                       

    Delegates at the IEF Conference

The two day conference, attracted delegates from Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Nigeria, USA, Japan and Kenya . At the Launch was His Grace the Archbishop of the COU the Most Rev. Stanley Ntagali, the President of the Seventh – day Adventists Uganda Union, Dr. John Kakembo, His Grace Archbishop K. Bakyenga, Acting Vice chairman of Bishop Stuart University (BSU) Mbarara Rev. Dr. Solomon Nkesiga, Mr. Joshua Kitakule IRCU Sec. General,(represented) the chief Convener and Bishop of Ankole Diocese and Dr. Fred Sheldon Mwesigye, to crown it all, the President of IEF Lady Kate Davson, together with Dr. Russ Parker the Director of Acorn Healing Foundation.
